The Chilkat Valley News has been in publication since Jan. 3, 1966, and is Haines, Alaska's independent Newspaper of Record. The CVN is published weekly, except the last week in Dec. and the first week in Jan. Our offices are located upstairs at 229 Main Street in downtown Haines.
