Drake Olson takes off his skates after playing hockey at Raven Arena on Friday. Greg Schlachter has been busy clearing snow off the expanded ice rink that’s been operating about 10 days inside the horse arena at the fairgrounds. Volunteers including Pete Dohrn and Randy Miner volunteered earth work last fall and Donnie Turner, Duck Hess and Josh Bentz are among those who’ve helped keep it plowed. Hockey games are at 5:30 p.m. and the rink is always open for public use. A crew recycled beams from the demolished White Fang log structure to build the rink.
