Fixtures, Materials Spared at Thunderbird Demolition

An excavator chomps the front office of the Thunderbird Motel two weeks ago. Items salvaged before demolition included 20 windows, 15 doors, seven toilets, four sinks, three bathtubs, two fuel tanks, lights, shelves, metal roofing, membrane roofing, roof trusses, plywood, headboards and the office’s front counter, according to Brenda Jones of Southeast Roadbuilders.
