Alaska Marine Lines and Southeast Roadbuilders crews prepare a 117-foot, 129,000-pound concrete girder to be moved off the Lutak Dock. Slightly modified logging trucks – one going forward and one in reverse – moved each girder 29 miles to the Klehini River bridge project. As of Wednesday, six of 15 girders were moved.
