Alaska State Troopers are investigating the cause of a single-vehicle crash near 7 Mile Haines Highway which injured a 40-year-old woman and totaled her 1997 Subaru. According to troopers, Sarah Roark was traveling southbound about 9:15 p.m. when she lost control of her car and sideswiped a guardrail. The car then crossed the roadway and struck a cliff face. Emergency personnel responded and transported Roark to the Haines Clinic for injuries to her hands. She was treated and released. Trooper Andrew Neason wouldn't release any additional information. "I'm conducting an investigation into the causes and circumstances of the crash," he said. "It's going to be awhile... All of the evidence has to be analyzed," he said.
