Sixteen dancers weave in and out with long ribbons, creating a lattice effect on a maypole set up Sunday at a beach on Paradise Cove. Setting up the pole on the first Sunday in May has been a spring tradition in the neighborhood for about 20 years, said resident Ed Hays.
