Haines artist John Svenson with a glass tile tile mosaic rendering of the U.S. Harbor Ship James Fornance tied up to the Port Chilkoot Dock. The ship delivered mail and freight to Fort Seward and also provided citizens passenger service. Svenson's piece is part of an art gallery being constructed by Alaska Arts Confluence in the ruins of the demolished Fort Seward barracks building.
