Contractors make swings, toy happen

On behalf of the students and staff of the Haines Borough School District, I’d like to extend a huge thank you to Robin Stickler of Wolverine Ready Mix and Dawson Construction for allowing us to use their backhoe and forklift for the recent installation of the playground equipment. The swings and blue mushroom toy are installed and in full use by the kids. We are still waiting for the border (to hold the woodchips in place) to arrive as there was a machine breakdown at the factory, but that doesn’t seem to be holding back the use of the playground at all! The students are also very excited about the borough-approved construction of the covering over the play court. Thank you to Haines for all you do for our district.
