A caller reported a laptop computer stolen from their home at 7 Mile Haines Highway a few months ago. Troopers were advised.
The bald eagle foundation was advised after a person reported an injured crow near the bank.
An officer was advised of a call that youths were exchanging money for drugs at a Main Street arcade.
Troopers were advised of a call about a black bear with an injured hind paw at Cathedral View subdivision.
Saturday, Sept. 18
A caller reported tools stolen from a job site at West Fair Drive. An officer determined nothing had been stolen.
An officer responding to a gunshot on FAA Road found nothing amiss.
Friday, Sept. 17
An officer responded to a call complaining that moose hunters were pointing guns toward the Haines Highway at the airport. The officer found no one.
A caller reported a company van on Fort Seward Drive had a window broken out during the night.
A caller requested advice about a friend in Juneau who continually phones them when they are sleeping.
Thursday, Sept. 16
A caller reported hearing multiple gunshots south of Fort Seward.
Troopers were advised of a report that a bear got into trash at 8.5 Mile Haines Highway during the night.
A caller reported a signed check was stolen from a downtown business. An officer started an investigation.
Firemen investigated a Mount Riley Road fire that was a controlled burn that had not been approved.
Wednesday, Sept. 15
A person reported a vehicle passed a school bus while it was stopped to pick up children. The vehicle’s owner identified the driver, who received a warning.
A caller reported a vehicle parked at the Port Chilkoot Dock the caller wanted moved.
A caller reported a helicopter flying over their residence. Police determined the flight was a medical emergency.
Tuesday, Sept. 14
An officer gave a ride to a pedestrian who saw a bear at the Halsingland Hotel on their walk home.
A Deishu Drive caller reported a bear in the dumpster near the senior residence there. A resident chased it off.
A caller reported a taxi in front of the Port Chilkoot Dock.
A caller reported an intoxicated person left a bar and was driving home. An officer located the vehicle and determined the person was not intoxicated.
There were 17 medical calls and five calls about dogs.
