Mark memorial bolsters wife's spirits

With so many notes still unwritten, I feel compelled to convey, dear friends in Haines, how much your calls, e-mails, and cards filled with caring condolences are deeply appreciated. Your kindness and prayers have gotten me through my first year without George (hard to imagine that is possible),and the recent memorial at Mark Park has bolstered my spirits, confirming that true family has no boundaries. Although the years have slipped by since our leaving Haines, I still feel the love and warmth of the wonderful people there. This was a very special chapter in our lives and you are very near and dear to my heart. I look forward to my Haines visit and picking up where we left off, whenever that will be.
