Thank you from the American Bald Eagle Foundation to Haines and all the businesses for helping make this year’s Alaska Bald Eagle Festival the biggest one yet!  We had 264 registered guests attend this year, and had a sold-out crowd for the Flight For Freedom Auction and Banquet. We could not have done this ourselves and have so many people to thank for making this such a success. I have had numerous compliments of the warm welcome the citizens of Haines gave to our guests. To the following people for making The Flight For Freedom Banquet and Auction such a great evening, we raised over $14,000 this evening, thank you for making this possible: all of you who attended this dinner and auction, all of the sponsors and underwriters, our Auctioneer Wayne Selmer, Stacie and Chris Turner, Inez, Athena, John and Autumn Gross, Kai Sato-Franks, Suzanne Newton, Gable and Hudson Sage, and the Haines Venturer Scouts for cleaning up after the festival.
