Brenda Jones and Ned Rozbicki have been elected as new members of the Haines Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

Jones, Rozbicki and Evangeline Willard-Hoy earned three-year terms on the board following the December election.

Chamber manager Joan Carlson mailed ballots to the chamber’s approximately 150 members, and said around a third of those ballots were returned.

Jones and Rozbicki will step in for bead store operator Jan Hill, who has completed the maximum two terms, and bank manager and chamber president Karl Heinz, who chose not to run for re-election. Other board members include Patty Campbell, Judith McDermaid, Adam Patterson, Greg Schlachter, Joyce Town and Nick Trimble.The board will elect officers Jan. 21.
