Monday, March 21

    An employee at a local business reported a person drove away without paying for gas at 1 Mile Haines Highway.


Sunday, March 20

    A caller reported that a person was in violation of a protective order downtown.


Saturday, March 19

    A caller reported their friend was having trouble with a boyfriend when they tried to move out of a house in the Young Road area. A caller requested extra patrols past the house.


Friday, March 18

    A caller reported a pony running loose at about 1 Mile Haines Highway. The owner was contacted and caught the pony.

    Troopers were advised of a call about a disturbance at 26 Mile Haines Highway.


Thursday, March 17

    A caller reported gas was siphoned from their vehicle in the Piedad Road area.


Wednesday, March 16

    A caller reported a semi-truck and trailer stopped at Lutak Road and Young Road. The vehicle had stopped due to icy conditions.

    A caller reported that they were told about a moose that charged and struck a pedestrian on Mud Bay Road.

    A caller reported he was run off the road by another vehicle on Second Avenue and Haines Highway. An officer was advised and said ice was a factor.

    A person reported a vehicle in the ditch on Small Tracts Road.

    A person asked for officers to check on their downtown business during the night because a garage door was open.

    A caller reported a vehicle sitting on the edge of Small Tracts Road. An officer responded, and the vehicle had been stopped due to icy conditions.

    A caller reported a teenager hitchhiking at 1 Mile Haines Highway. An officer responded and made sure the teenager had a ride.

    A caller reported two girls yelling at each other near the harbor. An officer responded and located a group of people checking on their boat and being loud, and they quieted down.


Tuesday, March 15

    A caller reported horses loose on Small Tracts Road. The owners eventually caught the horses.

    A caller requested an officer at a business for a customer that would not leave. The customer the day before had been advised to contact the court for a civil matter after the business allegedly charged the complainant $45 for test driving a car and deciding not to buy it.



   There were 12 medical calls and eight calls about dogs.
