Deadline for fair exhibit entries draws close

Love the fair? Then you better be working on your entries.
Exhibit entry deadlines for the Southeast Alaska State Fair are approaching. Items for most categories of entries including fiber arts, quilting, sewing, fine arts and crafts, writing, photography, woodworking and school projects can be dropped off at the fairgrounds on Friday, July 22, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday July 23, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Entries of crops, vegetables, flowers and baked goods are due Wednesday, July 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This year’s fair theme is Love a Fair and runs July 28 through the 31.
