Children work on the newly installed Early Literacy Station computers in the Children’s Room of the Haines Borough Public Library. The touch screen computers are equipped with 50 education software titles for ages 2-10. The computers are not connected to the Internet and the programs are aimed at helping to teach children reading, math, science, social studies, writing, arts and music. One of the computers is multilingual, with content in Spanish.
