Takshanuk Watershed Council would like to thank all volunteers for coming out to the Chilkat River Cleanup and making it a success! We managed to haul off 4,000 pounds of trash from areas along the river as well as areas that drain into the river. Also, we would like to extend a special thanks to Alaska Mountain Guides for bringing along a gear truck for large loads, Mountain Market for donating volunteer lunches and Chilkoot Indian Association for sponsoring this event.
