A player digs in the mud to return a shot during the annual Fourth of July mud volleyball tournament at Tlingit Park. The winning team was comprised of cruise ship passengers off the Zandaam, whose visit coincided with the holiday. The team included families from Virginia and California who had met earlier in the day. Winning players were Hannah Lowery, Kelly Koshuta, Joe Koshuta, Casey Koshuta, Michael Koshuta, Taylor Wasson and Cai Wasson. Marty Fowler photo.
