Lifting Mount Riley Trail Out of Swamp

 

Workers for Juneau’s Southeast Alaska Guidance Association build boardwalks on swampy, lower sections of Mount Riley trail last week. The work, including 160 feet of new, raised walks, cost $8,000. The money came from federal forestry funds. A crew of eight worked a week on the project.
