I would like to thank everyone that participated in the recent “Choose Respect” march. Your presence made a statement that our community does care! I would like to thank our guest speakers, Kevin Worley from Gov. Sean Parnell’s office, Amy Williams, assistant district attorney, former Mayor Jan Hill, and Joe Hotch. Each of you presented powerful messages about healthy relationships and stopping domestic violence. And a very special thank you to Keva Shull for your amazing performance in singing “Family Portrait” by Pink. There was not a dry eye in the building by the time you finished! And lastly, a heartfelt thank you to my husband Stan Mazeikas for all his help. I hope to see you next year.
