Workers recently started building the roof of the Jilkaat Kwaan Heritage Center in Klukwan. Work is ahead of schedule, village officials report. The village also recently received about $140,000 in grants for the project, including money to complete a business plan, purchase cabinets and build an interior, replica clan house.
