Wesley Verhamme checks a drift net for herring at Mud Bay on Sunday, April 27. Groups of residents using drift and throw nets were able to harvest hundreds of pounds of herring in a few days there. Eulachon showed up in Chilkoot and Chilkat rivers this week.
