U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski Spends Day in Haines

U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, spent Aug. 7 in Haines, including attending a public reception at the Chilkat Center. Here, Murkowski addresses Native allotment concerns while Richard Young listens during the reception. Murkowski also toured borough facilities and Fort Seward, met staff at the Soboleff-McRae Veterans Village and toured the site of the Jilkaat Kwaan Heritage Center.
