Debi Knight Kennedy signs copies of her book "Becoming Pearls" at downtown's inaugural "First Friday event sponsored by the Alaska Arts Confluence. About 100 residents turned out for visiting, music and snacks at the event held at the group's office and Skipping Stone Studios.
