Celebrity chef Michelle Genest, author of "The Boreal Gourmet" cookbook, will prepare a local foods gourmet dinner 6 p.m. Aug. 29. It’s a fundraiser for the Sheldon Museum. Dishes will include wild mushroom pate, braised elk ribs, and cherry pavlova. Wine will be served. Tickets are $100, $80 for museum members. Call 766-2366.
