Kluane-Chilkat International Bike Relay riders cross Dezadeash River bridge in Haines Junction, Y.T. early on June 18, seconds after the start of the race for four-person teams. To reduce congestion in the early stages of the race, the race is a staggered start, with solos and teams of two riders starting first, followed a half-hour later by teams of four riders and finally by teams of eight.
