I am very disappointed to hear the new police chief has elected to withhold the police blotter. So much for transparency.

It should come as no surprise that a policeman from Washington, D.C. would feel that way. Information there is routinely withheld, spun and heavily edited to fit the needs of politicians. I just hate to see that “us-against-them” mentality re-established at the police department.
