Colorful Quilts Light Up Arts Office

From left, Darlene Bolick, Anne Boyce and Debra Schnabel check out a circular quilt made by Delayna Doleshal of Haines at last week's First Friday art event. The quilt was part of the "Sweet Sixteen" exhibit at the Alaska Arts Confluence office. The exhibit incorporates 16 different quilting techniques. Doleshal used fabric and feathers to for the hair of animals in an African scene. The piece is titled "Who Does Your Hair?" The exhibit will be up through March. Natalie Helms photo.
