We at The Salvation Army would like to thank the owners and staff of Howser’s IGA Supermarket for their continued support of the work that we do in this great community. They recently had a fundraiser in which customers were given the opportunity to donate to The Salvation Army Food Bank. Because of the great compassion of the good folks in Haines and the generosity of Mike Ward in matching the funds collected, we’re going to make it through summer. We will be able to restock our almost empty shelves and continue serving Haines by “Doing The Most Good.” It is an honor to serve in a community where people care about their neighbors and are willing to help. Thanks again.
