Tuesday, October 31
A Battle Road caller requested assistance with a civil issue. The caller was referred to court.
A ring-in alarm was activated at the water/sewer plant. Water/Sewer Dept. was advised.
A 20-day domestic violence protective order was served on a 44-year old male.
An officer reported a disabled vehicle at 3 Mile Lutak Road.
A Fourth Avenue caller reported suspicious vehicles in the area.
Wednesday, November 1
A caller reported a vehicle accident at 23.5 Mile Haines Highway, no injuries were reported. Alaska State Troopers were advised.
A 59-year old male was arrested for trespassing at 4 Mile Lutak Road. He was lodged at the Haines Rural Jail Facility.
Investigation continued into a report that a 20-year old male assaulted a 70-year old male. Drugs were involved.
Thursday, November 2
Officers assisted in a civil issue on Blacksmith Road regarding ownership of a vehicle.
Haines PD received a report of a lost debit card on Second Avenue.
A caller reported a parking violation on Main Street. Vehicle owner was advised.
Investigation was continued into the theft of identification cards.
A confidential report of drug activity was made.
Friday, November 3
A Union Street caller requested assistance with a civil issue. The caller was referred to court.
A Third Avenue caller requested assistance with a civil issue. The caller was referred to court.
A court document was delivered to a Haines resident.
A caller reported someone driving without a valid driver’s license at 4 Mile Lutak Road.
Investigation was continued into a report of heating fuel theft on Deishu Drive.
Saturday, November 4
A Young Road caller reported a vehicle was parked in the roadway.
A 45-year old female was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Haines Rural Jail Facility.
Sunday, November 5
A caller reported a harassment issue in the Haines area.
A caller reported graffiti at 3.5 Mile Mud Bay Road.
Monday, November 6
Haines PD assisted a citizen on the Haines Hwy.
A caller reported a vehicle accident at 24 Mile Haines Hwy. Alaska State Troopers were advised.
Haines Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to a report of a possible chimney fire on Small Tracts Spur Road.
A caller reported black ice along the highway from town to the border.
There were five traffic stops, three 911 hang-ups, seven medical and three canine calls.
