The CVN learned late Wednesday night that Harris Air will operate out of Haines. No representative from the airline was available for comment. The carrier’s website lists flights from Juneau and Sitka to and from Haines Monday through Saturday. To fly from Haines to Juneau is $120 each way, according to their website. It costs $260 to fly to Sitka each way. Their website doesn’t show Haines as an option when booking a flight, however. On a local Facebook page named “Haines Front & Center,” the company’s page Harris Aircraft Services, Inc. commented “It is true...We will be stopping by Haines multiple times a day!”
