The original play, written by Michael Stark, Sue Waterhouse and Mark Sebens, was performed last weekend at the Chilkat Center. Letters, messages, historical photos and narrative slides were projected on an onstage screen while actors brought the 1918 Alaska and Yukon settings to life. It was presented by the Lynn Canal Community Players.
