Sixth graders Phoenix Swaner, 12, and Ila Nettleton, 12, dissect squid Wednesday afternoon. Nettleton removed the squid's buccal mass. Alaska Sealife Center's Laura Woodward, in partnership with the National Park Service and the Ocean Alaska Science Learning Center, taught the students about squid.
