Gene Kennedy of Geppetto's Junkyard Puppet Troupe speaks at Friday's Donor Thank You picnic hosted by Chilkat Valley Community Foundation. The puppet group used a $1,000 grant from the local foundation to build a gypsy-style wagon to haul puppets and equipment. About 100 residents turned out for the barbecue picnic.
