Sally McGuire has been an active member of our community ever since she moved here in 1985. She is now seeking a seat on the Borough Assembly.

She is a strong supporter of our fishing fleet and is very concerned over anything that may threaten their livelihood. She urges a common sense approach to retaining area wide police services in the event of an emergency. She would also help bring a regional diversity to the make-up of our Assembly. And she has been a long time self-sufficient homesteader at the mouth of the Chilkoot River, raising a family, chickens, goats, and a garden, as well as a friendly neighbor for over 35 years.

It is pleasing to see her and other civic minded folks willing to enter the public sector. As a former member of the Borough Assembly, Planning Commission, and school board, I especially endorse her candidacy.
