School staff teach lesson on hardship

TweetI want to thank all the staff at the Haines Borough School District, and especially Mr. Sam McPhetres, for all their hard work that they have been doing through this difficult time. Teachers and coaches have always taught us to push through hardships. Now that we are in that hard place, they are the ones pushing us and getting us through the hardships that COVID-19 has presented. Whether it’s providing lunches, cap and gowns, counseling meetings, or delivering computers, they are the ones putting in their own time to help us succeed. For that, I thank them and I want to let them know that they are appreciated!!!!
