Community Waste Solutions placed a recycling container at its Mosquito Lake Community Center pickup location as it increases its efforts to receive upper valley residents' waste. They're collecting aluminum, tin, plastic, glass and cardboard along with household waste every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. "It was off to a slow start but as word gets out we're starting to see it grow. The recycling container helps because it gives us good visibility," CWS manager Craig Franke said.
