Had I not read her Facebook page, I would have voted for Cheryl Stickler for the Haines Borough Assembly because she is an advocate for children.

However, I cannot vote for someone who posts a doctored video that insinuates Trump’s opponent is a sexual predator.

Though Stickler uses her Facebook page to encourage us to support American soldiers, she praises and prays for Trump who has called John McCain, a former senator and POW, and other fallen soldiers “losers” or “suckers.”

And given her Facebook posting of a man in a t-shirt that has “Unmasked, Unmuzzled, Unvaccinated and Unafraid” blazoned across it, I am concerned about decisions she would make regarding Haines and COVID-19.

We need people on the assembly who rely on factual information from valid and reliable sources, rather than conspiracy theories.
