Virginia Eleze Scovill.
Longtime Haines resident Virginia Eleze Scovill, known by many as Ginger, died Dec. 28 at Bartlett Memorial Hospital in Juneau with family by her side. She succumbed to a stroke. She was 89 and is buried in Jones Point Cemetery in Haines.
