Huling would be an invaluable asset
September 2, 2021
We are fortunate to have a young person of Tyler Huling’s caliber running for a seat on the Haines Borough Assembly. Tyler is a lifelong Alaskan with a unique skill set that will benefit Haines.
As a community organizer doing contract work, Tyler handled controversial issues and navigated through a broad range of strong and diverse opinions.
She is a currently a public health program analyst whose job is to assess how well government structures function and to make recommendations accordingly. Her ability to make systematic assessments will be invaluable as an assembly member.
She listens to people—all people. She remains calm under pressure and does not let ego get in the way.
She investigates all the information available, no matter the issue.
Tyler is thoughtful, deliberate, intelligent, intuitive, and vibrant. Her intention is to help build a thriving, healthy community that will remain viable for generations to come.
It’s important that young people have a voice in our future.
I will be voting for Tyler Huling for the Haines Borough Assembly on Tuesday, October 5, and I urge you to do the same.
