It is heartening that Debra Schnabel continues to offer her multitude of talents and vast experience to our town as she seeks a seat on the assembly in the upcoming local election. We have seen her dedication on display many times over the years, from serving on downtown revitalization efforts and from her involvement in the “Shop Local” campaign as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, to serving on the Borough Assembly and as the former Borough Manager. Debra is an analytical, intelligent, forward thinker trained in problem-solving and public relations, who is energetic and creative and very skilled. Her lifetime in Haines gives her a thorough and fundamental understanding of where we’ve been as a community, and of what we need to do, to be the best we can be now, and into the future. We’ll certainly be giving her our votes for Borough Assembly.
