A story in the Sept. 30 edition titled “Salmon abound at Chilkoot, but Chilkat sockeye numbers stay low” incorrectly stated that “the final escapement estimate for Chilkat sockeye was 98,672.” That number refers to the final escapement estimate for Chilkoot, not Chilkat, sockeye.
