TweetThe Haines Softball League would like to Thank everyone who donated the wonderful prizes for our Six Pack Sam Co-ed Softball Raffle. The raffle and tournament were a huge success and we could not have done it without local support. Your support has opened up many opportunities for the Haines Softball League to continue on a yearly basis to hold local tournaments after a 12 year hiatus.
I wanted to share how thankful I am to have such a supportive family who I can always count on. Both my husband Tom and daughter Jeanine showed their endless support and gave me a helping hand wherever I needed it most.
Huge kudos to all the ball players that stepped up to volunteer as umpires for the seeding and round robin games. Thank you to Debra Schnabel for introducing me to Jim McGowan from Arizona. Jim McGowan and Dave Hays were our volunteer umpires for Sunday’s championship games.
