Heart breaks for valley's future

If you want to come up here and change this pristine valley into the place you want it to be maybe you should remember why you left the place you came from in the first place. I cannot speak for everyone but most of the new people that I met came here because it is NOT a “Silverton, Colorado” or a “Lake Tahoe” or “Steamboat Springs.” My question to you is, when you change this place enough to suit your needs will you leave to go somewhere else? I would like to think past generations were good stewards of this eco system and pristine valley. I am sure some mistakes were made but I cannot say that about the next generation so far. Well, I guess if you have enough money, you can change anything. You know how the song goes, “You don’t know what you got 'til it’s gone, they paved paradise, put up a parking lot! Ooh bop bop bop." My heart is breaking for this valley.
