Thanks for supporting softball

TweetOn behalf of the Haines Softball Association, we would like to thank the community for all of your support this year.
A huge thank you goes out to local businesses: Alaska Sport Shop, Haines Packing, and Done Right Handyman Services for sponsoring the three local teams in the second annual Six Pack Sam Co-ed Softball Tournament. Six out-of-town teams came as well for an amazing turnout in some of the worst weather Southeast Alaska has to offer. Howsers IGA, Alaska Sport Shop, Lutak Lumber, and First National Bank all gave generously to supply tournament swag bags and prizes, Southeast State Fair lent us their canopies, which were a lifesaver!
This tournament’s success is directly based on the local support we receive, and we are truly thankful for it.
Rounding out our umpires were locals Tyrell Horton, Daniel Klanott, Stuart DeWitt, Brian Elliott, and Jesse McGraw who were all playing on teams and umping between. We could not have done it without you.
